Language and Communication
Question: What is the difference between “hello” and “hi”?
Paragraph:

When we meet someone, we usually say “hello” or “hi”. These two words are very common in English. They are used to greet people. But they are a little bit different. “Hello” is more formal. You can use “hello” when you talk to your teacher, your boss, or people you do not know very well. On the other hand, “hi” is informal. It is used with friends, family, or people your age. So, you can use “hello” and “hi” in different situations. Remember, it’s important to use the right word in the right place.
